    21st Birthday Basket

Hey all!  Today, I wanted to share a creative gift that my cousin got me for my 21st birthday.  I was so inspired by it that I was thinking that I’ll do this for my sister’s 21st birthday…and hopefully she’s not reading this.  I think that it would be a cute gift for a roommate or best friend.  It’s definitely a bigger gift but I think that you could downsize it depending on how much you want to spend or how close you are to the person.  Keep reading to see all the super cute things that my cousin included and get some birthday present inspiration! DIY Inspiration Board

Hi friends! A while back, I started working on my inspiration board that I have at my desk.  The last time I worked on it was probably at the beginning of college and I decided that I needed to spice it up a little bit.   Here are all the materials that I used for this project: Old Lilly Pulitzer Agenda Scrapbook Paper Cricut Cutter Thumb Tacks Mod Podge Cork Board I left the previous scrapbook paper background that I had on on it since the patterns/colors were relatively neutral.  I also left up the Christmas postcard that I got from Carly back in December! Ahh, I’m still super excited…

Writing Your Way to Your Best Blog Life

Hi Friends!  Today I was thinking to myself that writing seems to be such a struggle sometimes.  I have so many things to say but the words never come out at the right time!  I wanted to share some of my tips that help me the most to write down whatever I need to do. Set aside time. On the days when I think “Oh I can just fit in writing sometime in between my crazy schedule”, I usually don’t end up fitting it in at all… I’ve found that if I set aside an hour or two, I am able to get so much done for my blog from…

    Wednesday Wonders

HI Friends! Here’s another week of Wednesday Wonders.  This week’s wonders are a little random but I wanted to share a little bit with y’all on what I have been up to lately since I haven’t posted too much since I have been so busy. Jane the Virgin If you’re not already watching this show, YOU NEED TO.  I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this show in a previous post or not but it is definitely worth the second mention.  It’s on Friday Nights on CW but I usually catch up and watch it on CW.com sometime later on.  It’s so hard to wait until the next week of watching…

Craft Time! Recycle your Lilly Pulitzer Agenda

Hi friends!! I am so excited to share this post.  I’m not sure how many times I have thought “wow I really love all the fun pages and patterns that come in my agenda but what can I do with them”.  I go through and use my agenda throughout the year and then have nothing to do with all the super cute pages that are left over.  I’ve sat down to brainstorm and thought of a couple solutions to this.  Today I’m going to share with you how I used some pages for my agenda to spice up some plain white containers that I bought to organize my makeup. First…

    DIY Face Masks

Hey friends!  This past weekend my sisters and I decided to try out some DIY face masks and see how we liked them.  We all have different skin types so we tried out ones that are supposed to be better for one skin type over another. Oatmeal Face Mask – This one was supposed to be best for oily skin. We made this face mask for my sister who really struggles with oily skin so she gave this one a try. Ingredients: 1 tsp of honey 1 egg yolk Oatmeal (add as much as needed for desired thickness) How we liked it:  This was not the best face mask.  The…
