Reads to Kick off January!

Here are some of my recently read favorites!

Into the Water – Paula Hawkins

This book was for sure part of the thriller genre.  It reminded me a lot of Girl on the Train and Gone Girl.  Once I started reading it, I could not put it down!

Wonder – R.J. Palacio

The movie for this just came out so you may have already heard of it.  This is a young adult novel but a good read for all ages.  I had to read it for my Intro to Elementary Education Class and everyone in my class loved it.  We all wanted to go see the movie together (even our professor!) by the end of the semester.

#GirlBoss – Sophia Amoruso

I read this book last year but I am working on currently rereading it.  Sophia Amoruso shares how she started Nasty Gal and the many trials that it took for her to get there.  I always feel inspired after I read it since working towards a long term goal, like starting a blog, can seem like such a long process with no reward but you just gotta keep working!
