Super Simple Snacking

Hi friends! Today I wanted to share some of the foods that I am always reaching for and that are super easy to make when I’m extremely busy being the busy bee that I am! Some of these could work as apart of a meal or just a snack depending on what you want it to be.  Let me know if you’ve had any of these or decide to try any of them out!! Enjoy!

Black Bean Burgers

Since I don’t eat meat on Fridays in Lent, these were an absolute lifesaver.  Normally I would be reaching for the mac and cheese but these work as a much healthier option.  Sometimes I cut them up and put them on a salad and other times I just eat them plain with some ketchup.  I definitely recommend these chipotle black bean burgers.  They are my favorite!  Lent is over and I’m still eating them all the time!

Peanut Butter and Bananas with a sprinkle of chia seeds

I’m not sure how I stopped eating this combination for so long because it’s definitely one of the best.  I’m used to always reaching for ice cream at night but this definitely satisfies my sweet tooth and the chia seeds keep me feeling full so I don’t eat everything in sight.  I like to have this as a snack throughout the day or sometimes at night for something a little sweeter.   Bananas are soo inexpensive for the college budget too! (Win, Win!)

Avo Toast & PB Toast

Avocado Toast

This has been the new thing to post Instagram pictures of for the last couple years or so and after recently trying it, I can see why!  It’s not difficult to make at home so you can easily have a quick snack that actually makes you feel full!  My favorite place to shop for avocados is Aldi’s because you can definitely score a good deal on these and still get your favorite food!  I also like to sometimes switch it up and throw some peanut butter and chia seeds on instead.  It just depends what I’m feeling like in the morning.

If you have any other quick and easy healthy options, let me know in the comments, I need all the help I can get because this is Day 1 of eating healthy for me!

Xoxo,
