Craft Time! Recycle your Lilly Pulitzer Agenda

Hi friends!! I am so excited to share this post.  I’m not sure how many times I have thought “wow I really love all the fun pages and patterns that come in my agenda but what can I do with them”.  I go through and use my agenda throughout the year and then have nothing to do with all the super cute pages that are left over.  I’ve sat down to brainstorm and thought of a couple solutions to this.  Today I’m going to share with you how I used some pages for my agenda to spice up some plain white containers that I bought to organize my makeup. First…

    DIY Face Masks

Hey friends!  This past weekend my sisters and I decided to try out some DIY face masks and see how we liked them.  We all have different skin types so we tried out ones that are supposed to be better for one skin type over another. Oatmeal Face Mask – This one was supposed to be best for oily skin. We made this face mask for my sister who really struggles with oily skin so she gave this one a try. Ingredients: 1 tsp of honey 1 egg yolk Oatmeal (add as much as needed for desired thickness) How we liked it:  This was not the best face mask.  The…

The Power of a Thank You Note

Hey friends! Today I wanted to share how I’ve been randomly thinking about writing more Thank You Notes. I always hesitate to write Thank You Notes but honestly they’re one of my favorite kinds of handwritten letters.  Recently, this past semester, one of my professors had us write Thank You cards to someone in our lives who has impacted our transition as transfer students.  She reminded us that someone didn’t necessarily need to give us a physical gift to write them a note.  I honestly struggled to think of someone to write the note to since I can’t remember the last time I wrote a Thank You Note to someone…

    OOTD 10.1.15

Since I normally don’t have anything school related on Thursdays, I try to run all of my errands and get everything done!  Today my dad and I went out to lunch to an Italian restaurant and this is what I wore!  It’s starting to get a little chillier so now I can break out my vest and sweater combinations, which is definitely one of the best parts about Fall and Winter. I recently bought black jeggings from american eagle and I like them a lot more than I thought I would.  They have a way dressier look than just plain leggings but they’re SUPER comfortable.  I would definitely suggest getting a pair…

    Kate Spade Favorites

With the Kate Spade Surprise Sale last week, I’ve been having so much fun online shopping (well mostly looking) at all the Fall bags!  I decided to buy a new cross body because I’ve been in need of one for a while now.  I bought the Charlotte Street Alek cross body in the color ‘dune’. I just got it today and I’m super excited to bring it with me everywhere.  It was a bit bigger than I expected it to be but it’s the perfect size.  I’ll definitely be able to fit everything I might need to bring with me for a day of running errands or a fun night…

    Fun Little Things

Hey everyone! For me, it’s nearly impossible to walk around Target or Home Goods without picking something up and contemplating whether or not to buy it even though I just came in to “look”.  (I hope I’m not the only one with this problem!)  Lately, I seem to find myself coming home with all the little things that I find right before the checkout! A couple weeks ago I found this pink journal at TJ Maxx and this notebook at Home Goods! I never end up completely going through a journal but they’re an inexpensive way to brighten up a dresser or desk so it works out.  I had an…
