Berry Smoothie Bowl Recipe

Hey all! Today, I am going to share my Berry Smoothie bowl that I make at home!  It’s only 7 ingredients and a quick breakfast to make before you’re heading off to work or class. I love making this because it keeps me full until lunch and it only takes me about 10 minutes total with cleanup. In other words, it’s totally doable on a busy morning! Keep reading to find out how I make this! P.S. If you’re vegan, this recipe is for YOU!

Ingredients

  • 1+ 1/2 C. Mixed Berry Frozen Fruit (Blueberry, Strawberry, Blackberry, Raspberry)- I bought mine at Wegmans
  • 1 C. Coconut Water
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 TBSP. Berry Protein Powder – I purchased this from the Wegmans Smoothie Bar but other protein powders will work as well.
  • Nature Valley Granola
  • Coconut Flakes
  • Chia Seeds

The Process

First up, I add my frozen fruit, coconut water, 1/2 of the banana and berry protein powder to my blender and blend it up. For a smoothie bowl, it’s best when it has a thick consistency so that’s what I was aiming for with this. If you don’t like the ratio of fruit to coconut water, you can always switch them up.

Hint: adding more water allows you to throw this in a cup and drink it rather than putting it in a bowl because we all know sometimes even 10 minutes isn’t enough time on a busy morning.

After this, I add the smoothie to my bowl and cut up the other half of the banana. I add the slices to the top and probably spend a little more time than necessary to make it look ‘instagrammable’. In addition to the banana, I take a handful of granola and sprinkle that over along with a tbsp. of chia seeds. Lastly, I sprinkle coconut flakes over the top. I’m never really too consistent with the amount of coconut, somedays it’s a lot or none at all.

And we’re done! Very Berry Smoothie Bowl is all done and ready to eat. Don’t forget to take the picture for your instagram story.

Hope you enjoyed this fun little recipe. If you try it out, leave me a comment and let me know what you thought.

XOXO
