Get to Know Me
Hey all! Here’s a fun get to know me post for all those who just started reading or aren’t really sure who the heck I am! My full name is Elizabeth Irene I really don’t go by that too often. The whole reason I started to go by it was I needed something a little longer than only “Liz” to go by so I thought why not throw my first and middle name together! I grew up on a farm! (and still live there!) The farm life is the life for me. I literally say it all the time and I’m totally not exaggerating. I love visiting cities and…

A Day in My Life: Rita’s High School Graduation
Hey all! Up here in New York, it’s graduation weekend for a lot of high schools. That means that my sister Rita is now…a high school graduate. She did it! Friday the 22nd, we all gathered in the high school gym where Rita along with her class of about 70 students all walked across the stage and received their diplomas. They were such a great class and we are all very excited to see the many accomplishments that they go on to have. It’s so crazy to think that my sister is now going to be in college! She’s going to our local community college for her first year or…

First up is From the Heart: Conversations with Yoga Girl For those of you who don’t know, Rachel Brathen aka Yoga Girl is one of my biggest inspirations. She opens up on her feelings and what has been going on in her life…

Cross Country Travel Series: New Mexico
Destination: Albuquerque, New Mexico Our second real stop on the trip was in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We have family in New Mexico (Hey Dawn and Tal!) so we wanted to stop and see them since we have never visited before. The view driving into Albuquerque was phenomenal. The mountains were absolutely gorgeous and driving in at sunset meant that the sun was reflecting off of them. I took so many pictures just from driving in the car. It wasn’t extremely hot when we visited either which was nice since us Upstate New Yorkers aren’t too used to over 100 degree temperatures. While we were in Albuquerque the first night, we…

Outfit of the Day 1.14.2017 and Weekend Update!
Hey friends!! Today I am going to share with you what I wore yesterday. So quick update, I was out and about from 11am to 10pm last night and I wore this the entire time! I went from church to running errands to a movie date with my boyfriend later at night. We saw Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and it was so amazing. It went way past our expectations of what we thought that the movie was going to be. Sometimes I even fall asleep at the movie theater…but I was wide awake the entire time! I wore this pink sweater (similar), a navy blue vest with my monogram necklace,…
