Life Lessons by 21
Hi Friends! Here’s my post of the month that is super basic! Although there are about what seems like 3748329920 billion different posts that begin with “Things you should know by the age of ..”, I’m still sharing my take on what I think you should know. This month, I’m celebrating my 21st birthday. I thought that I would share some of my greatest life lessons that I have began to live by and that mean a lot to me at this point in my life. They’ve helped me to become the future educator, friend, sister, and daughter that I am today. Let Go and Let God When I…

My Favorite Podcasts
Hey friends! Today I am going to share with you my most recent podcasts that I have been listening to. I commute about an hour 5 days a week so I’m all about listening to podcasts to make the time go by a little quicker. Like my book selection, I listen to pretty much anything so my podcast selection is a little bit all over the place. First up is From the Heart: Conversations with Yoga Girl For those of you who don’t know, Rachel Brathen aka Yoga Girl is one of my biggest inspirations. She opens up on her feelings and what has been going on in her life…

Cross Country Travel Series: New Mexico
Destination: Albuquerque, New Mexico Our second real stop on the trip was in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We have family in New Mexico (Hey Dawn and Tal!) so we wanted to stop and see them since we have never visited before. The view driving into Albuquerque was phenomenal. The mountains were absolutely gorgeous and driving in at sunset meant that the sun was reflecting off of them. I took so many pictures just from driving in the car. It wasn’t extremely hot when we visited either which was nice since us Upstate New Yorkers aren’t too used to over 100 degree temperatures. While we were in Albuquerque the first night, we…

Outfit of the Day 1.14.2017 and Weekend Update!
Hey friends!! Today I am going to share with you what I wore yesterday. So quick update, I was out and about from 11am to 10pm last night and I wore this the entire time! I went from church to running errands to a movie date with my boyfriend later at night. We saw Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and it was so amazing. It went way past our expectations of what we thought that the movie was going to be. Sometimes I even fall asleep at the movie theater…but I was wide awake the entire time! I wore this pink sweater (similar), a navy blue vest with my monogram necklace,…

Budget-Friendly Makeup Favorites
I was never much of a ‘makeup guru’ until these past couple of months. I started to do my makeup at home and slowly got into watching YouTube videos and investigating drugstore products. I can now say that I have drugstore favorites that I have tried out these past couple of months and I will definitely be buying them again. Profusion Amber Eyes Makeup Palette This Palette summed up in one word..AWESOME. This is only $6.99 at target. I bought it because I was looking for a palette with reds and pinks but I didn’t really want to break the bank trying out a new palette. I ended up absolutely…

It’s become a big part of my life and I want to continue making it a regular part of my daily routine. Travel I hope to travel more in this year. I’m not sure where I want to go but there are so many different places I haven’t been yet! Grow the Blog I am so happy to be blogging more and I hope to continue that and grow my amount of followers over this next year. Be more organized…

My Yoga Practice
Hey friends! Today I wanted to share with you all, my yoga practice and how it fits into my life. I mentioned in my last post that I recently started practicing on my own and that motivated me the most. I’m going to share with you some of my yoga favorites today. Playlists Yoga is seriously the best because you can flow to pretty much any kind of music that fits your mood. I used to be under the impression that it had to be slow and music that was relaxing. Sometimes it is but other days I feel like listening to rap, alternative or even seasonal music, like Christmas…

2017, Bringing it Together
2017. There are many mixed opinions on how 2017 may have went. Some loved it. Some hated it. For me, it was a time of learning. I learned a lot about myself. Here are some of the big areas of my life where I found the most growth. School I was attending my local university that was just not right for me. I was miserable but still nervous to leave my comfort zone. The greatest decision I ever made was deciding to apply to a school a little farther away. It may be a longer commute but I have the major I want with smaller class sizes that actually work…
