How I balance College and Working and then little bit of blogging too!

Hey friends! Today I wanted to share with you how I balance my life, as a busy bee!  I’ve always been the kind of girl who wants to keep busy always making plans and doing new things.  At some points in the past, it’s really caught up with me so now I know how to balance it so I do not feel physically or mentally drained all the time.  Now I’m going to share with you how I balance it all!

Sleep

For me, I have to make sure that I get all my sleep.  If I don’t then I just end up feeling horrible for days to come.  Make sure you do not over schedule yourself so that you are able to get enough sleep each night and then you’re able to focus better on your school work and everything else you have to be awake for!

Healthy Diet

I typically tend to go to Wegmans or CVS and buy allll the candy in sight when I’m feeling stressed about all the work I have to do.  I’ve recently learned to not do that because it only leaves me feeling tired and ready for bed instead of ready to take on all the work that I have to do.

Yoga

Yoga has helped me to recharge when I get home from class at night.  Coming home from a night class in the dark always makes me feel like I just want to crawl right into bed rather than staying on track with the work that I have to do.  I like to fit in about 20-30 minutes of Yoga when I get home so then I’m able to get started on school work and not feeling completely drained when I save all my work for the next day.

Don’t compare yourself to others

It’s so easy to look at Instagram or Snapchat and see how all of your friends are out having fun on a weekday or weekend while you’re working on homework, or at work or working on blog posts.  I always get stuck in the thought of Am I missing out on something?  The answer to that is no I am not.  I may have to miss out on a couple of fun nights with friends but I definitely appreciate the opportunities that come through work, school and blogging and I am happier in the long run!

Schedule Time for Yourself

Although it’s good to stay busy and on track of all the important things, it’s even better to schedule time for yourself to relax.  Reading a book, taking a bath, or watching my favorite show on Netflix are some of my favorite ways to relax.  By the time I’m done with one of these, I’m almost always full of energy!

Use your Agenda!!!!!!!

My agenda literally gets me through the week.  I have a Lilly Pulitzer one and I just went out and bought another one from TJ Maxx to use just for blogging.  I’m able to see everything I have going on in school, and work, and make notes of bills due.  It seriously makes everything easier for me!!!

How do you balance work and school? Share your ways with me in the comments!

Liz
